Canada Community-Building Fund in Québec
Infrastructure Canada is now Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada
With the passing of Bill C-59 on June 20, 2024, Infrastructure Canada (INFC) is now officially the department of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada (HICC). We are currently making updates throughout the website to reflect this change.
Canada Community-Building Fund in Québec
The Canada Community Building Fund (CCBF) provides up-front, predictable long-term funding to help address local infrastructure priorities. Over the next five years, the CCBF will invest over $2.8 billion in the province of Québec, starting with $535 million in 2024-2025. CCBF will also support community growth by providing funding to infrastructure projects and contribute to increasing housing supply and affordability.
Information for previous years is available at Canada's open portal: Canada Community Building Fund Municipal Allocations.
Additional information
- CCBF funding is allocated to Québec municipalities through the Programme de la taxe sur l'essence et de la contribution du Québec (TECQ), which is administered by the Société de financement des infrastructures locales du Québec (available in French only).
